GIFs have become one of the most important ingredients to spice up your messaging bubbles. Apple has long allowed users to create GIFs right on their iPhone and iPad, without the need for a third-party app. In iOS 11, you can easily send live photos as GIFs from your iPhone and iPad, or save GIFs to the Camera roll.
However, creating GIFs on a Mac is a different story. Apple doesn’t allow users to create GIFs directly on their Mac, which is a little bit disappointing. Fortunately, with the help of third-party apps and programs, you can easily create a GIF on your Mac.
