The biggest change coming to the 2016 MacBook Pro lies in a brand new Touch Bar, which sits at the top of keyboard and replaces the function keys. Developers have been trying to make their apps compatible with Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro, promising to offer an exceptional experience for any users. While Touch Bar is a nice feature, one major drawback is that you accidentally hit the Siri button. This is super annoying, as you can unexpectedly trigger Siri on your MacBook Pro.
Fortunately, there is a simple workaround for removing Siri icon from the MacBook Pro Touch Bar, without the need for an additional program or software.
In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to remove Siri icon from Touch Bar on Mac. Before proceeding, keep in mind that Touch Bar is only available for the MacBook Pro (2016 models or newer).
How to remove Touch Bar icon from Touch Bar on MacBook Pro
Step one: First off, you need to head to the Apple menu at the top and select System Preferences from the drop-down menu
Step two: Next up, select Keyboard. After that, make sure that the Keyboard tab is selected, and select Customize Control Strip at the bottom of the Keyboard window
Step three: Here, you will see the list of all buttons on Touch Bar. Locate Siri icon (It is usually found on the left of Touch Bar
Step four: Now simply need to drag the Siri icon into the Trash on your Touch Bar (Alternatively, you can use mouse to drag the icon out the Touch Bar to remove it)
Step five: Hit Done button to complete the task.

Step one: First off, you need to open the Activity Monitor application on your MacBook Pro. To do this, head to Applications/Utilities
Step two: Here, navigate to Touch Bar agent, kill it and hit Quit to confirm.
