New video shows an iPhone 8 without Apple logo

Recently, internet users have come across a video which is believed to show an iPhone 8 prototype unit. Although Apple has not released any official announcement to verify the video’s authenticity, it seems that the video does not match with what we heard in previous rumors.

Based on the video, both the front and back of the prototype iPhone 8 unit will be glass. Also, its rear features a vertical dual camera setup. The video shows that the iPhone 8 unit has no home button at the front and the scanner is integrated into the display. Users can be surprised by a bezel-less look, with minimal bezels surrounding the 5.8-inch display.

This time Apple seems to remove its Apple logo from the rear of the handset. As a result, it can be said that this prototype is mainly created by early drawings and renders. Until now, that the Touch ID scanner is integrated into iPhone 8’s display is still shrouded in mystery. Apart from that, this unit also reveals a cut-out at the rear for the Touch ID scanner. Some people guess that it is the place for a fingerprint scanner in case Apple fails to integrate Touch ID underneath the display.

The premium iPhone 8 is expected to feature all-glass design with a stainless steel chassis. Similar to the design of Galaxy S8 and LG G6, the front of iPhone 8 will come with a bezel-less design. Apple does not want to copy Samsung, so no curved OLED display is used for this product. More than that, iPhone fans are looking forward to seeing wireless charging, fast wired charging, and a revolutionary 3D selfie camera. According to Apple’s annual iPhone release cycle, iPhone 8 will be rolled out a few months from now .
