Steps to disable Facebook Post Tab pop-ups on your Mac

No one can deny the popularity of Facebook- a social network founded by Mark Zuckerberg and if you are a frequent Facebook user, you may have noticed a new type of notification or pop-up. Both often appear right after you have commented on a post, especially when you surf Facebook on your desktop in recent days. This also aims at informing you about recent activity on a post you are tagged in.

Each feature has both pros and cons and there is no exception here. Some people may find these Facebook Post Tab pop-ups interesting ; whereas, others seem to be unsatisfied. If you happen to sit in the latter group , you will want to turn off them immediately.

How to turn off annoying Facebook Post Tab pop-ups

Step 1: Firstly, you need to launch your preferred browser on your Mac

Step 2: Then, you need to visit Facebook.com and log in with your account details

Step 3: Once you are in, you click on the Options icon (looks like a gear) in the bottom right of the screen between the search bar and the New Message icon

Step 4: Finally, it is simple to click Turn off Post Tabs.

Apart from that, only when you notice the Post Tab, you are able to turn off notifications on an individual Post Tab. To do it, you just need to click on a gear icon at the top of the Post Tab pop-up, which looks like Options icon in the lower right portion of your screen. Once you are done, you need to click on Turn off Notifications.
