Like other social networks like Facebook or Twitter, Instagram users are now allowed to stream “Live Video” using both iPhone and iPad. All the videos will automatically disappear right after they are live-streamed.
Thanks to this feature of Instagram, you can spend up to 60 minutes on streaming live video, thus allowing you to interact more with your friends and fans. As soon as you use the feature, your followers will be immediately notified. In addition, it allows you to see the real-time viewers as well as their comments. How to Stream Live Video in Instagram on iOS devices
Note that: Until now, the new feature is only available in the US and it is expected to be soon available in other regions.
Step 1. First and foremost, you need to open Instagram on your iPhone and iPad
Step 2. Next, you have to tap on the camera button which is located on the top left of the screen or you can also swipe right from anywhere on the Feed page
Step 3. Then, you simply need to tap Live at the bottom of the screen
Step 4. Once you are done, you now need to tap on Start Live Video.
- Right after you go live, your followers will quickly receive a notification. At this time, you can find out the number of viewers at the top of the screen and comments at the bottom. If you would like to add a comment, tap on Comment button.
- To let viewers notice your comments easily, you need to tap and hold them to pin them to the top. If you want to turn comments off, you simply need to tap on the three dots and select Turn Off Commenting.
Step 5.Once you are done, you have to tap on End at the top right
