In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the steps to remove a favorite from your iPhone Favorites list. Before we begin, note that the below-mentioned guide will only remove the contact from your iPhone Favorites list in the Phone app.
Steps to remove a favorite from the Favorite contacts list on your iPhone
Step one: First off, you need to launch the Phone app from your home screen. Once you are in, you simply need to choose the “Favorites” tab at the bottom-left corner of the screen
Step two: From here, you will access a list of all your favorite contacts in your Phone app. All you have to do now is to tap on the Edit button located at the top-right corner of the app
Step three: Next up, you simply need to tap the red (-) button to the left of the favorite contact you wish to remove from the Phone app
Step four: You now have to tap the red Delete button that shows up on the right of the favorite contact to remove that contact
Step five: Repeat the process with other favorite contacts you want to remove from the Phone app on your iPhone.
If you want add a Favorite to the list, you simply need to tap on the + button in the Favorites app and select a contact.
